three small bites: 🕊️🎄🍫
a festive spy thriller, tinsel-covered Christmas trees + a perfect peppermint bark
Want to know something wild? It’s not winter yet. *letting that sink in* Technically, the first day of winter is tomorrow. Just as September 1 feels like the start of fall, the day after Thanksgiving is obviously the start of winter, right? Timing wise, that’s practically three months and actually makes a lot of sense. But this is not how it is, which just feels weird to me. Anyway. If you were thinking you were in a winter wonderland for the past couple of weeks, you weren’t. You were in a fall wonderland. 😆 But tomorrow…tomorrow it’ll all be different.
I’m currently in the middle of reading three different novels (+ Ina Garten’s Be Ready When the Luck Happens), as well as a few writing craft books. As a mood reader, there’s so much I want to read right now, and I can’t seem to settle on just one. Let’s see if I can finish one book in the next few days (there are only eleven left in the year). Who else is ready for 2025?
‘Til then, let’s get to the bites…
