the Emily in Paris set, Julia Child's birthday (+ a book I'm excited for) + a cheesy snack I've been devouring

Hello readers! I blinked and it’s now mid-August. I spent the beginning of the month in Los Angeles for Steamy Lit Con (and the Disney Parks), and have been busy in the days since working, writing, reading, and putting a fun class together that I’ll be teaching this weekend.

If you didn’t know, tomorrow (Saturday) is Bookstore Romance Day! This day is meant to “give independent bookstores an opportunity to celebrate Romance fiction—its books, readers, and writers—and to strengthen the relationships between bookstores and the Romance community.” Love all of this, and you bet I’ll be celebrating. I get to hang out with my author friends (Jenna Levine and Melissa R. Collings) and book friends at Parnassus Books for a slumber party-themed hangout. I will be running the bracelet-making table, and I got some practice in making bracelets and necklaces for Steamy Lit, so I am READY! I’ll share more pics and fun things I’ve got up my sleeve for the day (just guess what my pajamas are inspired by 😆). I hope you’ll visit your local indie and give romance books some love. ❤️
